  • Jon Dore

    Jon Dore

Named one of "10 comics to watch" by Variety, Ottawa-born comedian, host and actor Jon Dore is renowned for his offbeat humour and unique bait-and-switch style.

Dore is a favourite on the comedy club and festival circuit in Canada and the United States. He has hosted theJust for Laughs Festival Homegrown Comedy Competition on a number of occasions and has enjoyed sold-out runs at the Festival's Montreal and Toronto locations, at comedy festivals in Halifax, Vancouver, Portland and Washington, DC, and at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

From his humble beginnings as the co-host of the cable talk show Daytime Ottawa (Rogers Television) and the irreverent roving reporter on Canadian Idol (CTV), Dore recently starred in the critically acclaimed ABC-TV series How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life) opposite Sarah Chalke, Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett.

Dore is the host of HBO Canada's Funny as Hell, a series showcasing bold and uncensored comedy from the fastest rising comedians at the Just For Laughs Festival, currently shooting its' fourth season.

He is the star of his own award-winning 'mockumentary' series, The Jon Dore Television Show, documenting his hilarious and outrageous debates on life's challenges and changes, from weight loss to gender. He also served as co-creator, co-producer and writer on the series, proving he is just as comfortable behind the camera. The series ran for a successful two seasons on IFC and The Comedy Network.

Dore starred in the stand-up specials Comedy Central Presents...Jon Dore and Comedy Now! (CTV/The Comedy Network); appeared on a number Comedy Central's specials including Live At Gotham, CC: Stand-Up: The Bonnaroo Experience and Mash Up; made guest-starring turns on How I Met Your Mother (CBS) and Scare Tactics (SyFy); and was the lead in the CBS pilot My Life As An Experiment.

  • Chase Durousseau

    Chase Durousseau

Chase Durousseau is a household name that even smart people have trouble spelling. A Creole Texan, his easy going delivery and unique rapid-fire animated mannerisms have captivated audiences around the globe. Growing up latch key and down the street from a dollar theater, his early childhood consisted of getting dropped off at theme parks, the movies and pulling pranks on strangers that would eventually become his friends. He then proceeded to crash so many of these peoples family get togethers that eventually everywhere he went felt like home.

After volunteering for Red Cross during Hurricane Katrina, he couldn’t stop talking to people, took his insatiable lust for blabbering to the stage and has been there ever since. After starting comedy he won Houston's Funniest Person Contest, entertained U.S. Troops in Kuwait and Iraq. He performed at Moontower Comedy Festival with Hannibal Buress, opened for Craig Robinson and The Nasty Delicious on the east coast, and with Norm Macdonald, Jo Koy, Anjelah Johnson, Steve Byrne, Louis CK, Bill Burr and more in the south.

He currently lives in Los Angeles where he regularly performs around town and hosts a popular live weekly show called “Midnight Snack” at the Hollywood Improv.

  • Ian Bagg

    Ian Bagg

Ian Bagg started his comedy career in his native country, Canada. He proceeded to do all the show business things that every successful Canadian entertainer does. He went to a “Hockey Night in Canada” game on a Saturday night, performed at the “Montreal Comedy Festival,” kissed a fish in New Foundland and a “Comedy Now” special on CTV. So what does a Canadian do when he has done it all? He boards a train to New York City, lives in a youth hostel and ends up on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson” and “Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” It is not always fun and games. He was forced to do “Make Me Laugh,” “Showcase Comics with Louie Anderson,” “Fridays” on NBC and the “Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.” His new, one-hour special “Ian Bagg: Getting to F*cking Know You” premiered on Showtime in April 2013.

Bagg has acted in Tim Robbins’ “The Cradle will Rock,” “MVP 2,” and “MXP”. Fun fact: he’s the the only known comic to have worked for famed director/producer Judd Apatow and not become a multi-billionaire. Life has been amazing for Bagg being on such diverse platforms as the History Channel, the Food Network, the Biography Channel and being the first ever Canadian to meet three US presidents– Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter and George Bush…although only one was in the White House at the time while he met one on a plane and the other at a hockey practice.

While working red carpet interviews, Ian has pissed off Brad Pitt, been hit with a champagne bottle and asked for chocolate covered pretzels by Alec Baldwin. You probably wonder what kind of man does this and without imploding? The answer is a man whose dog survived a three- story fall and who’s been known to think he is twelve–but may actually be twenty-nine or seventy-two.

Ian went to school to be an explosives engineer, but a lucky chance at an open mic made him the volatile one. He may be in your area sooner than you think, because this manchild does over 100,000 air miles a year…or you could listen to his radio/podcast show on XM Radio channel 160 or The Toadhopnetwork (The Ian Bagg Show.) He has performed 2 successful half-hour specials, “Comedy Central Presents” and HBO’s “A Comics Climb” and has been seen on “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution.”
