Born and raised in the suburbs of Lake Forest Park, WA, Adam got into comedy at an early age, impersonating friends, teachers, and Ace Ventura.
In High School, Adam ran his high school’s morning television news program. When it began, it was your basic morning news program. Then Adam and a few friends took it over, and slowly turned it into a weekly sketch show that somehow included the news. Airing every Friday morning for 10 minutes, it was a hit amongst the entire school. Except for teachers that wanted kids to learn and thought they were wasting class time with “immature sillies.” To this day, he doesn’t know what that means.
In 2001, Adam journeyed to Los Angeles, where he was accepted into the BFA acting conservatory at USC. His junior year he studied abroad in London at the British American Drama Academy, where he did Shakespeare, fencing, and drinking.
Since then, Adam has been seen guest starring on Two Broke Girls, WORKAHOLICS, Arrested Development,According to Jim, Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV, Kevin Hart's Real House Husbands of Hollywood, HBO's Silicon Valley, Comedy Central's @Midnight, Chelsea Lately, and writing for MTV’s PUNKD, and as the bad guy opposite Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig’s buddy cop comedy “The Heat.” His standup has been featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, AXS Gotham Live, Adam Devine's House Party, and he's a regular on The Adam Carolla podcast. Adam also co-hosts the popular ABOUT LAST NIGHT podcast with comedian Brad Williams, and can be seen in the upcoming Paul Feig comedy SPY, starring Melissa McCarthy & Jason Statham. Check out AdamRayTV.com to see all of Adam's hilarious sketches, that have over 30 million views on his Youtube & Funnyordie.
Helen Hong is a comedian, TV host, matchmaker, and star of Logo Channel’s reality dating series “Setup Squad.” Helen’s adorable stage presence and mischievous point of view have landed her on The Huffington Post’s Favorite Female Comedians list and a profile in The New York Times. She’s been featured on E!, TLC, and is a frequent host of the PBS syndicated talk show “Asian America.”
As a standup comedian, Helen’s “cute little Asian girl” demeanor leaves audiences totally unprepared for her naughty and irreverent material. She was a semi-finalist in the 2008 and 2007 NY’s Funniest Stand-Up Competition, was selected for the Emerging Comics Showcase at the 2007 NYC Underground Comedy Festival, and was a semi-finalist in the 2006 California’s Funniest Female Contest. Helen has performed across the country, including at The Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, in Puerto Rico for Armed Services Entertainment, and at dozens of colleges and universities.
Helen is the creator and host of a popular comedy-matchmaking event called “Laugh Match.” She stars as a professional wing-woman in Logo Channel’s “Setup Squad,” a reality series about a New York dating agency. When she’s not playing cupid or making people laugh, Helen enjoys karaoke, NPR, and cheese.
It's noon and in Los Angeles there is one hilarious individual and right now he's sleeping. Yes, sleeping. It's noon. The temperature is rising. The Sun is starring daggers at us and this man, Detroit-native SANDY DANTO continues his slumber. Why is he sleeping? Because he can. The difference between the reader and him is that when he wakes up, he's not popping out of a dream. He's living in it. He's living it. Sandy on stage is like watching Lebron James try out for Freshman basketball at St. Vincent- St. Mary, they both had to take bathroom breaks.
Joking aside, Danto goes up everywhere. His resume is a who's who of legendary (and not so legendary) comedy clubs around the world. His actual life lends itself to the most unique stories that could be written for TV and film. He references tough times in his life that in no way, should be funny, but he pulls off the job. The reaction received from taking in his creativity isn't just a laugh or a "That's funny"; it's a thought process that activates inspiration and emotion and you'll be grateful for it.
Sandy moved to Hollywood after studying at Indiana University while taking summer classes at Second City in Detroit. He immediately started working at National Lampoon upon landing in Los Angeles. He is a character actor, but is equally comfortable playing himself and did so plenty during his stint with the Lampoon. In addition to his on camera work, he writes, directs and produces comedy shorts, which is what he was hired to do for National Lampoon in the first place. He's appeared on Mad TV and Comedy Central's Mash up. He goes on tour with 90's icon Pauly Shore all over the world and built a name for himself that he carries back to LA on his back and throws down at the steps of his apartment, where he gets back to work, writing jokes. Whether or not any success, paid gigs or applause fulfill him, isn't even relevant at this point. His presence on stage as a performer and friend is relevant in itself. Anything else is bonus and whether or not you laugh, isn't. He'll be fine because, after all, he's just dreaming.
Eliza Skinner has appeared on Chelsea Lately, The Pete Holmes Show, Totally Biased, Conan, and Upload with Shaquille O'Neal. She has performed all over the place including SXSW, The Edinburgh Fringe, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the New York Comedy Festival. She is currently a member of the musical improv group "Diamond Lion" at the Upright Citizens Brigade. And once RuPaul said she was "She-larious", which was pretty dope. www.elizaskinner.com
Brent Weinbach's stand-up comedy is weird. He is a winner and recipient of the Andy Kaufman Award, which is given out once a year to recognize innovation in stand-up comedy. He is also responsible for various internet video sensations such as Gangster Party Line and Ultimate Drumming Technique, as well as the cult web series, Pound House. Brent has appeared on Conan, Lopez Tonight, Comedy Central, HBO, IFC, ABC, and Adult Swim, and also toured with the Comedians of Comedy.
Chase Durousseau is a household name that even smart people have trouble spelling. A Creole Texan, his easy going delivery and unique rapid-fire animated mannerisms have captivated audiences around the globe. Growing up latch key and down the street from a dollar theater, his early childhood consisted of getting dropped off at theme parks, the movies and pulling pranks on strangers that would eventually become his friends. He then proceeded to crash so many of these peoples family get togethers that eventually everywhere he went felt like home.
After volunteering for Red Cross during Hurricane Katrina, he couldn’t stop talking to people, took his insatiable lust for blabbering to the stage and has been there ever since. After starting comedy he won Houston's Funniest Person Contest, entertained U.S. Troops in Kuwait and Iraq. He performed at Moontower Comedy Festival with Hannibal Buress, opened for Craig Robinson and The Nasty Delicious on the east coast, and with Norm Macdonald, Jo Koy, Anjelah Johnson, Steve Byrne, Louis CK, Bill Burr and more in the south.
He currently lives in Los Angeles where he regularly performs around town and hosts a popular live weekly show called “Midnight Snack” at the Hollywood Improv.
