  • Sklar Brothers

    Sklar Brothers

Randy and Jason Sklar began as one zygote and later guest starred in many TV shows, including an Emmy Award winning episode of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, the FX hit “It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as well as Adult Swim’s Childrens’ Hospital. They starred as conjoined twins in a memorable episode of Grey's Anatomy and as warring agents on HBO's Entourage. Of the Entourage episode, Entertainment Weekly television critic Paul Katz wrote of their turn, “in the hands of comedic masters, The Sklar Brothers, they made it soar.” They’ve also appeared in such films as Touchstone's, Wild Hogs, and Fox Atomic's, The Comebacks. They currently host the critically acclaimed History Channel docucomedy
that highlights the ways in which statistics tell the story of America called The United Stats of America. In November of 2006, Randy and Jason wrapped their 4th and final season of their cult classic comedy series, Cheap Seats on ESPN Classic. They also wrote and appeared in a regular segment on ESPN's SportsCenter called, “The Bracket” from 2008 to 2009. In addition they regularly fill in as guest hosts for Jim Rome on his popular nationally syndicated radio show.
As stand up comedians, they recorded their second half hour Comedy Central Presents in November 2009 and it premiered in March of 2010. The Onion A.V. Club named their latest comedy CD
Hendersons And Daughters in their Top 10 Comedy albums of 2011.
And Neil Strausse of the New York Times said of the Sklars, “Their
comedy accepts the reality of being twins but does not use it as a
crutch. Instead," noted Strauss, "they work with their physical and
mental similarities and correspondences, their status as imperfect
carbon copies of each other. In their comedy, the straight man is often
    an echo."
Randy and Jason currently reside in Los Angeles, where they record
their popular weekly sports comedy podcasts Sklarbro Country and
    Sklarbro County for earwolf.com.

  • Wil Anderson

    Wil Anderson

Wil Anderson is a stand up first and foremost, touring Australia and the world at every opportunity, performing more than two hundred shows a year. His stand up is a densely written, high-speed ride through one of the most wonderful comedic imaginations in the world. Politics, pop and the personal come together in a Wil Anderson routine, always delivered with more conviction and enthusiasm than any man’s vocal chords can take.

Over the last 4 years Wil spent a lot of time north of the equator, performing live in London, Edinburgh, Ireland, Montreal, Canada, New Zealand and across the US and securing regular guest appearances on the popular US late night comedy talk show, Chelsea Lately.

Since 2008 Wil has been the host and executive producer of the ABC (Australian Broadcast Company) TV's highest rating program "The Gruen Transfer series" - a role that saw him nominated for a Gold Logie in 2010, and also won Best Entertainment Show at the AACTA awards in 2011.

Gruen has spawned the spin-offs Gruen Nation, the sports themed Gruen Sweat and Gruen Planet. In 2013 Wil returned to host a series of Gruen Nation and Gruen Planet which was once again the number 1 entertainment show on the ABC network, a record fifth year in a row.  In 2012 Gruen Planet was nominated for a Logie, and in May 2013 Gruen Sweat won the prestigious Rose d'Or, Europe's equivalent of the Emmys.

But it’s on stage where Wil is in his element: 2012 saw Wil busy touring his hit live show Wilarious to sold out venues around Australia, earning rave reviews and winning his third consecutive Bulmer's People’s Choice Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, not to mention being named one of comedy’s hottest acts by none other than John Cleese.

2013 saw Wil’s most successful tour yet, with GoodWil being seen by over 50,000 people including audience across North America in Vancouver, Montreal, LA, New York, Minneapolis, Seattle, DC, Cleveland and Denver.

GoodWil was awarded a Fringe Award for Best Comedy during the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and enjoyed a sell-out 21-night run at the prestigious 1600-seat Princess Theatre during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival where it received a five-star review from the Herald-Sun. It was later performed everywhere from a a log-cabin in Alaska to a two-week sold-out season at the prestigious Soho Theatre in London.

To cap off 2013, GoodWil was nominated for a Helpmann award (Australia’s Tonys) for live comedy performance. This is a record-breaking fourth nomination in a row.

Wil is also the host of the popular podcasts Wilosophy which regularly tops the iTunes charts in Australia, and TOFOP which was recently named iTunes Best Classic Audio podcast for 2013.

  • Jerrod Carmichael

    Jerrod Carmichael

Jerrod Carmichael is an LA based standup and performer originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has been crafting his standup for over three years and this year was featured in Variety as being one of the top ten comics to watch, as well as being one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival.

Jerrod is a regular around some of LA’s favorite standup shows, including Meltdown, The Improv, Laugh Factory and many alternative rooms.

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael is getting his very first standup special, and it's going to be a big one: an hour-long special for HBO. The untitled special will be taped May 7th, 2014 at The Comedy Store, and it will air later this year. Carmichael's HBO hour is being produced by Funny Or Die and directed by Spike Lee. This will be only the second standup special Spike Lee has directed, following the 2000 standup concert film The Original Kings of Comedy.

In an interview with us back in 2012, Carmichael discussed plans to do a special:

"I have an idea [for a special]. I think it's a good idea. It's very specific to me … If you do a special, you want to do it not just to do a special. You want to do it because you have something to say, and you think it can be impactful. So, what I want to say is coming out more, and I'm excited about that."

It's very rare for HBO to give an hour special to a comedian as new as Carmichael, who, although he's been doing standup since 2008, has never done a set on TV. Most comedians start with late night spots or a half-hour Comedy Central special, so Carmichael getting an hour on HBO, which is a prestigious and sought-after gig in the industry, as his first televised performance says a lot about how much faith HBO has in him.

Carmichael, who ranked first in a 2013 poll we conducted amongst LA bookers and hosts to determine their favorite up and coming standups, has appeared on Fox's The Goodwin Games, the upcoming movie Neighbors, and created and starred in a sitcom pilot that's currently in development at NBC.

  • Brent Morin

    Brent Morin

As a polished stand-up, singer and all around charmer, Brent Morin can do it all.

After a memorable set at the "Just For Laughs" New Faces show, Brent’s quickly made a name for himself with appearances on Chelsea Lately, Conan, Adam Devine’s House Party and by inking his own development deal with 20th Century Fox to write and star in his own sitcom. This took a backseat when Brent landed the lead role in Bill Lawrence's NBC series Undateable. His decision panned out, as season two premiered to great ratings on March 17th.

Brent hosted the 2015 NACA Kick-Off Event. Last year he played the biggest comedy festival of all time, Funny or Die’s Oddball Festival. Brent currently tours colleges and clubs all across the country.
