It's noon and in Los Angeles there is one hilarious individual and right now he's sleeping. Yes, sleeping. It's noon. The temperature is rising. The Sun is starring daggers at us and this man, Detroit-native SANDY DANTO continues his slumber. Why is he sleeping? Because he can. The difference between the reader and him is that when he wakes up, he's not popping out of a dream. He's living in it. He's living it. Sandy on stage is like watching Lebron James try out for Freshman basketball at St. Vincent- St. Mary, they both had to take bathroom breaks.
Joking aside, Danto goes up everywhere. His resume is a who's who of legendary (and not so legendary) comedy clubs around the world. His actual life lends itself to the most unique stories that could be written for TV and film. He references tough times in his life that in no way, should be funny, but he pulls off the job. The reaction received from taking in his creativity isn't just a laugh or a "That's funny"; it's a thought process that activates inspiration and emotion and you'll be grateful for it.
Sandy moved to Hollywood after studying at Indiana University while taking summer classes at Second City in Detroit. He immediately started working at National Lampoon upon landing in Los Angeles. He is a character actor, but is equally comfortable playing himself and did so plenty during his stint with the Lampoon. In addition to his on camera work, he writes, directs and produces comedy shorts, which is what he was hired to do for National Lampoon in the first place. He's appeared on Mad TV and Comedy Central's Mash up. He goes on tour with 90's icon Pauly Shore all over the world and built a name for himself that he carries back to LA on his back and throws down at the steps of his apartment, where he gets back to work, writing jokes. Whether or not any success, paid gigs or applause fulfill him, isn't even relevant at this point. His presence on stage as a performer and friend is relevant in itself. Anything else is bonus and whether or not you laugh, isn't. He'll be fine because, after all, he's just dreaming.

Lauren Ashley Bishop has been making people laugh since the day she could pratt fall. She may look like a nice southern belle, as she is a proud native of Arkansas, but don’t be confused. There is a razor sharp wit behind her debutante smile that can carve you up quicker than her mom can shoot whiskey.
Lauren has performed at top clubs coast to coast, including The Improv, Zanies, The Ice House, Comix, & Gotham Comedy Club. She is currently touring colleges across the nation, recently being named a 2009 Hot Up and Coming Comic by Campus Activities Magazine. This year her tour also includes her second trip overseas to entertain the troops.
You might recognize Lauren from one of the numerous national commercials she made you laugh in this year: Mini Baby Bel Cheese, Arby's "Birthday Surprise", or performing standup comedy for Midol's newest campaign. She has voiced countless radio and TV ads, including her favorite, Popeye's Mama Slap Chicken.
Lauren is also an accomplished stage actress. She's played to rave reviews in Second City's Romeo & Juliet Musical @ Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues @ The Apollo Theatre, & the National Broadway Tour of Scrooge, The Musical. Shortly after graduating USC, Karl exploded onto the LA stand-up scene. Performing relentlessly, he quickly made a name for himself as one of the best young comics in Los Angeles. He is now a regular at the top shows in LA and has performed at clubs, colleges and festivals all over the country, including Comix in New York City, the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta at which he was a Finalist, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland. Karl also produces and hosts his own show, The Sunday Sunday Sunday Show, which regularly features the finest stand-up talent in the city and has been hailed as one of the best underground shows in LA. He also has a pretty solid afro.
