If the adage is true — that tragedy plus time equals comedy — then Ryan Sickler has paid his dues on the left side of the equation. Born in Baltimore, Ryan lost his father when he was 16. After that, he bounced from one relative to another. And while his early years might have seemed rocky, that tumultuous childhood gave him both fodder for material and armor against the relentless onslaught that is life as a standup comic.
His television appearances include The Pete Holmes Show, Comedy Central’s Tosh.O, Live At Gotham, Cutman and The Late Late Show.
Beyond standup, Ryan Sickler is an engaging storyteller. You can catch him every Tuesday (Toozdee) on his podcast, The CrabFeast. Inspired by his hometown, the show celebrates the things Ryan loves most — storytelling, family, friends and laughter.
Since bursting onto to the NYC comedy scene in 2004, Erik Rivera's name has become synonymous with comedy. His “boy next door” good looks and unique perspective make him one of New York's fastest rising young comedians. His quick wit along with his commanding stage presence, charisma and infectious smile make him a favorite act at comedy clubs and colleges throughout the country.
Erik is one of the most requested comedians on both coasts; when in New York he can be found nightly at the Comedy Cellar, The Comic Strip Live, Comix, Broadway Comedy Club and in Los Angeles he calls the Laugh Factory, The Ice House and the Hollywood Improv his comedy homes.
Erik’s star is quickly rising! Recently, Eva Longoria Parker's production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment took notice of Erik's talent and approached him about producing a sitcom based on his comedy. LATV’s American Latino, which highlights accomplished Latinos in the community, will feature him this season as they document his rise to fame. Rivera is a familiar face all over several cable networks as he has appeared numerous times on SiTV, Comedy Central and most recently on MTV Tr3s. Erik also starred in the feature film Stand Up 360 along with Caroline Rhea, released in theaters across the country. In addition, he was selected to host their Latino film series, Stand Up 360 Muy Caliente! Rivera has also appeared in two independent features, My Brother and Stand Up, by award winning director Michael Rainin. Erik wrote and directed his first award-winning short film, The Cyclist last year featuring fellow comedians Ross Bennett and Imagine.
Erik continues to tour colleges and universities nationwide. He also had the privilege of being selected this year, by NBC from a nationwide search to represent their network’s Stand-Up for Diversity College Tour!
When not touring or acting, Rivera is one of the most requested young Latinos working today. During the 2009 Holiday season, he served as the spokesperson for Duracell SmartPower Lab in Times Square, interviewing celebrities from Justin Bieber to Academy Award nominated Gabourey Sidibe. The SmartPower Lab used human power to light the 2010 numeral during the world famous New Year's Eve festivities. In February of 2010, The National Hispanic Media Coalition invited Erik to be their special guest performer at their annual Impact Awards Gala, which honored Oscar Nunez (The Office) and Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family). He has also appeared at The Latino Laugh Festival along side Carlos Mencia to a packed house at The Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. In both 2008 and 2009, Erik was honored to be the only comedian to perform two consecutive years for The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC.
When not touring the country. Erik calls both New York City and Los Angeles home
With a dynamic energy and an almost tangible onstage presence, Dean Edwards remains one of the comedy worlds most in demand performers across the globe. Armed with a razor sharp wit, an arsenal of characters and spot on impressions, it’s no wonder that he’s become such a favorite, garnering media attention as well as a legion of fans.
As one of the stars of MTV2’s hit show, GUY CODE, Dean has helped the show become the networks most successful show in its history. He also just completed hosting TV One’s clip show, VIDIOTS and serves as a correspondent on BET’s new program, DON’T SLEEP, hosted by TJ Holmes.
A talented Actor/Comedian, Dean Edwards has been making his mark in comedy following two successful
seasons as a cast member on “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE With such memorable impressions as Don Cheadle, Michael Jackson and Denzel Washington, as well as such original characters as "Man in Elevator" and "Cop#2", Dean always pushed himself to the limits of creativity and exhaustion. Always the multi-tasker, Dean found the momentum to juggle his SNL career, his numerous standup appearances and multiple television appearances.
Born in the Bronx and raised throughout New York, Dean's travels made it easy for him to communicate with all walks of life. After dividing his college career between classes and a 6-year term in the U.S. Army Reserves, Dean ultimately made the choice to devote his career to comedy. Although his fellow soldiers loved his impressions of their drill sergeant, Dean spent many an afternoon doing push-ups to pay for his comedic talent. That talent paid off and Dean found his career after participating in a college talent show.
Armed with a degree in communications, Dean became an in-demand comic, and landed his first big break on Russell Simmons' “DEF COMEDY JAM.” Though the show is renown for it's blue humor, Dean found a way to break the traditional mold with his mainstream appeal. Subsequently, he was a featured comedian on “SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO” a few years later. Dean followed his TV appearances by starring in numerous television commercials, and also worked with Spike Lee on the hit feature film “THE ORIGINAL KINGS OF COMEDY”.
Edwards has since earned a reputation as a headlining favorite at comedy clubs and colleges across the country. An international sensation, Dean has attended Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival twice
and was chosen to perform at the Jozi, Cape Town and Durban Comedy Festival’s in Johannesburg, Cape
Town, and Durban South Africa, as well as Saudi Arabia in late, 2009. More recently, Dean completed a
tour of the Middle East, performing in front of more than 10,000 comedy fans: beginning in Cairo, Egypt
and ending in Kuwait.
Dean has made several late night appearances, including “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” He is also a favorite and frequent guest on Byron Allen’s “Comic Unleashed,” and is frequently providing comedic commentary on various VH1 highlight shows. Director Malcolm Lee also chose Dean to finish Bernie Mac's voice/ADR work on "Soul Men" after the comedian’s untimely death.
He spent 2 years workshopping and creating the character of Donkey, leading up to Dreamworks’ SHREK THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Jeffrey Katzenberg was so impressed by Dean’s vocal talents that he invited Dean to step into Eddie Murphy’s shoes to reprise the role of Donkey in Dreamworks’ new Halloween classic, “SCARED SHREKLESS”. Some of his feature credits include “SPIDERMAN 3”, “TONY –N- TINA’S WEDDING” and “UNIVERSAL REMOTE”. Dean’s first comedy CD, “REAL TALK WITH FAKE PEOPLE, Volume 1” debuted at the top of Itunes comedy charts in 2009. As he continues to ascend in the ranks of entertainment, Dean next plans to record a one hour comedy special in the near future.

Random facts include… when he was still in college he pranked his way onto THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO, and a memorable episode of BLIND DATE, pretending he was an Israeli guy with no social skills, and had one of the most awkward dates ever. For his college talk show, Carmen Electra was his last guest, and Gleib was featured all over her E! True Hollywood Story.
He is proudest that he can probably eat more than you.
