Practitioner of the Deadly Art of Comedy
Sam Tripoli views comedy as a calling rather a profession.
It’s a passion that he preaches to audiences at comedy clubs
across the country and on television.
In 2014, Tripoli’s 2nd album “Believe In Yourself” went to
#2 on iTunes in America and #1 in Canada!
His TV Credits include Showtime's "Live Nude”, "Russell
Peters' Comic Without Borders!”, E!’s “Love You, Mean it!
With Whitney Cummings,” CMT’s “The Josh Wolf Show,”
Comedy Centrals’ “Premium Blend” (receiving only one of
two standing ovations in the history of the show), a
frolicsome turn as a male escort for E! Entertainment’s
“Party @ the Palms,” “The Late Late Show on CBS”,
“Comics Unleashed”. He was also a
co-host of Spike TV’s hugely popular “Wide World of
Spike" and “Bellator MMA Digital!”
Tripoli has been heard on The Howard Stern show, The
Jason Ellis Show on Sirius Radio, and also regularly
appears on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Tripoli
hosts his own very popular radio show called "The Naughty
Show" on PlayboyRadio as well as his mega popular All
Things Comedy “Punch Drunk Sports” podcast with cohost
Ari Shaffir of Comedy Central.
Sam’s writing credits include The 2012 MTV Movie
Awards, Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers and Pamela
Anderson, The 2011 World MMA Awards and most
recently his Roast Of The Iron Sheik jokes were quoted in
Rolling Stone Magazine.
On stage he’s a force of nature, pacing the stage like a
cyclone of funny as he questions authority and the
conventions of our society one moment, then earnestly
expressing his affinity for bizarre the next. His comedy has
no limits – its whatever he’s thinking about, and that’s
usually what everyone else is thinking about, even though
sometimes we don’t like to admit to it.
“I like to think of myself as the little voice in everyone’s
head, except I have a microphone and I’m funnier,” Sam
Josh Fadem is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He's trained at venues including The Upright Citizens Brigade LA and The Groundlings and can be seen performing his special brand of standup comedy at many venues in Los Angeles. He recently ended a four and a half year run of his popular and historic (yes, historic) weekly comedy/variety show Josh Fadem's Acid Reflux Hour which ran in the W.C. Fields Lounge of the Ramada in Hollywood. He has toured nationally on the bill w/ The Whitest Kids U' Know, and on the independently produced, veggie-oil fueled "F Yeah Tour".
At UCB, he has hosted & performed at Comedy Death-Ray, spearheaded Josh Fadem Presents: The Hot Seat w/ Wally George, his experimental monthly variety show Exploring the Space, appears regularly in The Midnight Show. As well as performing often in the popular shows America's Best Comic, Greatest Concert Ever, & Panel of Experts. Keep an eye out for when Josh performs his rare physical comedy opus 30 Minutes of Falling Down, in which he does as the title suggests.
He (me, I'm writing this) can be seen this year in the upcoming films Calvin Marshall (opposite Steve Zahn, Alex Frost, Deidrich Bader, Andrew Wilson, Jane Adams) as well as in the Fox Atomic feature Miss February. He has also appeared on the FX series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Showtime's Weeds, TBS's Frank TV, and IFC's The Whitest Kids U' Know. Upcoming television credits include Comedy Central's Reno 911, Showtime's Live Nude Comedy w/ Shannon Elizabeth, FOX's upcoming Joss Whedon series Dollhouse, where he plays a college student who goes crazy, yells at fruitflies and bangs his head against a window until he dies, in his underwear (sorry to spoil). Josh also thought you might like to know that he was in the FX pilot The Mikes and the new pilot The Bill Burr Project for Comedy Central (directed by Jason Woliner of Human Giant fame).
Halli Borgfjord is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles. A first generation Icelander who was raised in Michigan, Halli has been seen on AXS Live TV and heard on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, XM satellite radio, and on his album “Have you been Borgfjorded Lately?” which debuted at #2 on iTunes Comedy. Over the years Halli has performed all across North America and made his way to being a regular at the best clubs in LA. Additionally, he has performed at numerous comedy festivals most notably the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival, the inaugural Big Sky Comedy Festival, and the Cabo Comedy Festival where he was a finalist in the Jack Rollins rising-star showcase. In addition to standup Halli studied sketch and improv at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles.
Fantasy Comedy is a show that will feature the best comics in the business and will also be catered to Baseball/Football fans. Each show will include promotions and prizes from the LA Dodgers (still working on getting this), and in the fall will feature live Fantasy Drafts and Leagues.
