It's a little late in the game, but Brian finkelstein isn't performing this weekend. it's a rotating cast with a featured monologist, and this week it's just deepak. so it should read:
Deep dish featuring Deepak Sethi Deep Dish combines the art of stand-up comedy and long form improvisation. A celebrity comedian takes a single audience suggestion and does a series of improvised monologues based on true stories from their lives. A group of improvisers then does a series of kick-ass improvised sketches based on these monologues. The Deep Dish performers are comedy veterans hailing with from I.O. West, UCB, and Second City Chicago, and have many film and TV credits under their belts. Featuring: Brian Finkelstein, Dan Bakkedahl, Joe Canale, Rob Janas, Jill Benjamin, Josh Meyers, Brian Shorthall, and more!
Deepak Sethi might be one of the few ordinary people left in the entertainment industry, thanks largely to the short span between his humble beginnings and present success. Three years ago he was selling “chickpeas and assorted beans” in Toronto, living in his parents’ attic, and desperately trying to find a use for his MBA. Today, he’s written for Family Guy and Daniel Tosh’s animated show Brickleberry, and is a regular doing stand up at Bally's in Las Vegas. Not bad for a bean salesman – or anyone, for that matter.
