Jim Jefferies, hailing from Australia, headlines around the globe this year with his most recent tour self-titled simply JIM JEFFERIES. Carlie and Doni are two best friends who met in 2005 at Los Angeles Community College Theater Academy. They quickly realized it was terrible and dropped out. Carlie moved in with Doni and throughout the next 2 years they attended a variety of "actor training classes" such as Improv, cold reading, commercial classes, scene study etc. These classes were terrible as well so the girls decided to start writing sillly songs and sketches on their own time. One day in 2007 Carlie's mom convinced Carlie to sign them up for an open mic at the Comedy Store. They weren't sure how their straight girl/lesbian musical duo was going to go over but it went better than expected and they have spent the last 6 years turning their 7 minute musical act into a one hour comedy extravaganza. They were voted Best comedians in L.A. for 2011 by Los Angeles Magazine. You can catch them Headlining the Hollywood Improv and at Universities and Comedy clubs all over the United States.
At 18 years of age Lee moved out of his parents' home and took jobs in restaurants and coffee shops in the San Diego area, while also attending Palomar College for a brief period. In 1994 the coffee shop for which he was working closed. “I just went next door to get a job,” he said, “which was The Comedy Store in San Diego” (also known as the La Jolla Comedy Store). After a few months of working odd jobs at the club he decided to try stand-up during one of their amateur nights. Within a year of doing regular comedy sets he got offers to open for both Pauly Shore and Carlos Mencia. Lee also went on to work regularly at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, a comedy club owned by Pauly Shore's mother Mitzi.
Lee has admitted in several interviews that his parents had hoped he would continue on with the family business and were less-than supportive of his comedic pursuits at first. During a podcast interview conducted by fellow actor and comedian Joe Rogan, Lee stated that during the first few years he did stand-up his parents barely spoke to him, however after his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno his father called him and apologized for not supporting his comedy career. Lee's parents currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. Lee is known to have included his family in some of his work: His younger brother has appeared in several non-speaking roles on MADtv and his entire family has appeared in a skit on the show.

Live interview on stage with Guns N Roses drummer Matt Sorum!
Every month Skyler Stone (Raising Hope, Comedy Central's CON, Waiting, For Your Consideration) puts on an amazing evening of comedy and music. Except it is not what you might think. It isn't comedians going up and then musicians going up and doing their separate acts. NO! It is all integrated. Skyler only books comedians who use music in their acts (like Zach Galifianakis or Garfunkel & Oates) and comics who love to talk about music in their acts (think Brian Posehn ranting about metal music or Chris Porter gabbing about the Black Crowes). The night is topped off with a special A-list musician that is brought onstage for a hilarious and intimate interview done by Skyler. So far musicians that have been interviewed are Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age and Andy Summer from The Police. A Portion of the proceeds for every show goes to the charity of our musician's choice! This show is one of the Improv's hottest, so get your tickets now or you will miss out!
