Join us for a night of comedy to benefit Semester at Sea!
Semester at Sea alumni, parents, and friends, you’re invited to attend the 3rd Annual Comedy Fundraiser for Semester at Sea, featuring SAS alumnus, Theo Von (Fall 2002), as well as other comics. Spend the night with your fellow shipmates and other voyagers, enjoy some big laughs, and support the program that gave you the world.
Theo Von is the host of TBS’s new hidden camera show “Deal With It” from Howie Mandel. He also currently hosts Yahoo!’s popular daily recap show “Primetime in No Time” - one of the most-watched shows on the web. Theo had the highest rated half hour special on Comedy Central last year. He is a contributing writer for Laughspin.com and the genius behind CrankTexts.com, a website where he texts random numbers and gets into conversations with total strangers. CrankTexts was a weekly featured column on CollegeHumor.com. and has had 10 million page views and averages 18 clicks per visit.
Theo has garnered numerous accolades for his many appearances on TV. He was voted “Fan Favorite” as a semi-finalist on “Last Comic Standing,” was the winner of Comedy Central’s “Reality Bites Back,” and has hosted The Comedy Sideshow podcast – consistently one of the 10 most downloaded video podcasts on iTunes. He was also featured on G4’s “The Top 100 Video Games of All Time” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.” In addition to headlining clubs across the country, Theo has performed internationally at The South African Comedy Festival and for the troops at Guantanamo Bay. He has also appeared at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, the Chicago Just For Laughs Festival and Comedy Central’s South Beach Comedy Festival.
Stephen Kramer Glickman:
Stephen is known for “Gustavo Rocque” on “Big Time Rush” tv series and “The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It” film playing the role of “Seth”.
Stephen plays the larger than life record executive “Gustovo Rocque” on Nickelodeon’s “Big Time Rush” which can best be described as “The Monkeys” meets “Entourage.” Stephen has also appeared in films and was featured in comedian Jeff Ross’ Comedy Central special. Stephen has also created, written, produced and starred in a smash hit Comedy Central web-series called “Small Business” which portrays Stephen as an ad executive who runs an ad agency exclusively through the creative genius of five year old kids who are not afraid to go toe to toe with the boss that towers over them. Stephen is also an accomplished singer and he was employed by Dreamworks to perform as “Shrek” during the “workshop” phase of the Broadway show with the same name.”
