Hailing from Chicago, IL, Bil Dwyer, like many hearty Midwesterners, is a very private person and likes to keep things to himself. Unlike many hearty Midwesterners, he is forced to compose bios of himself written in the third person. Bil’s career has covered many facets of show business, from performing to writing to commercial voiceover work.
Bil is an accomplished standup comic, who has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and his very own half hour standup special, Comedy Central Presents: Bil Dwyer. His takes on marriage, kids and family are hip and sardonic, and yet beneath lies a certain odd sweetness.
Bil has hosted GSN’s I’ve Got a Secret, Comedy Central’s BattleBots, Fox Sports’ Ultimate Fan League, PAX-TV’s Dirty Rotten Cheaters, GSN’s Extreme Dodgeball and MTV’s The 70’s House (as mock game show host, Bert Van Styles).
Besides appearing on great television shows like The Larry Sanders Show and Ally McBeal, Bil has also been in such forgettable films as Ski School 2, The Bogus Witch Project, and What Planet are You From? Writing with sitcom star/television producer Christopher Titus, Bil co-created a show based on his stand-up comedy called Back After This for Sony Pictures Television.
A regular commentator on various cable shows, he is most often recognized for his work on VH1’s highly-rated I Love the… series. Bil was also seen as a finalist on Season 4 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and starred in Cartoon Network’s live action/animation hybrid series, Out of Jimmy’s Head. He currently recurs as Valerie Bertinelli’s ex-husband on the highly-rated TV Land sitcom, Hot in Cleveland.
Jerrod Carmichael is an LA based standup and performer originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was featured last year in Variety as being one of the top ten comics to watch, as well as being one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. He recurred on Fox’s The Goodwin Games and can be seen in Universal’s upcoming feature Townies. Jerrod is currently working on an untitled comedy pilot for NBC that he wrote and will star in and produce.
Jerrod is a regular around some of LA’s favorite standup shows, including Meltdown, The Improv, Laugh Factory and many alternative rooms.
Maria Bamford is the creator and star of Maria Bamford: the special special special and of the cult hit web series The Maria Bamford Show, which screened at the Museum of Art and Design. She is the first female comic to have two half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials and starred alongside Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis and Brian Posehn in the Comedy Central series The Comedians of Comedy and Netflix’s Comedians of Comedy: The Movie.
Maria voices characters on numerous animated series including BoJack Horseman, Adventure Time, Legend of Korra, Puss in Boots and PBS’s Emmy-winning series Word Girl. She can also be heard voicing lead roles on Fox’s Golan the Insatiable and Yahoo’s Talking Tom & Friends.
Maria recurred as DeBrie Bardeaux on Netflix’s Arrested Development reboot, for which she was praised as “fantastic” (Entertainment Weekly) a “standout” (TIME) and “perhaps one of the high points of the entire new season” (Black Book Magazine). She also recurred on fX’s critically-praised Louie, ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat and USA’s Benched. Maria’s new Netflix series, Lady Dynamite was created by Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development) and Pam Brady (South Park). It premieres in May 2016.
Ron Funches is a very funny stand up comedian with a unique delivery and lovable demeanor, you just want to hug and squeeze him like a big stuffed bear. His easy going, inventive style sounds the way fresh chocolate chip cookies taste. Ron performs stand up all over the United States impressing audiences everywhere.
Most recently Ron was featured as one of LA Weekly's Most Interesting People. He has performed live on TBS's CONAN O'BRIEN SHOW. He is seen regularly on E!’s CHELSEA LATELY, Comedy Central’s @MIDNIGHT and THE KROLL SHOW. You can see Ron on NBC’s new show UNDATEABLE premiering in May 2014. Ron resides in Southern California.
Wayne Federman is a veteran comedian, actor, comedy writer, and author. He has been seen on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show, and has his own 1/2 hour stand-up special on Comedy Central.
He currently portrays “Dean Weinstock” on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and has also appeared on dozens of TV programs including The League, The Larry Sanders Show, and The X-Files.
Moviegoers may recognize Wayne from Step Brothers, 50 First Dates, 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, and Legally Blonde.
Wayne was the head monologue writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon over its first season has also written for Garry Shandling, Sarah Silverman, The Muppets, Kevin Nealon, Bill Maher, and Seth Rogen.
He co-authored the bestselling sports biography MARAVICH that ESPN called "The definitive biography of Pistol Pete Maravich."
Wayne also hosts the Annual Wayne Federman International Film Festival every January.
