Jamar Neighbors is a stand up comedian from Los Angeles, Ca. He's been doing stand up comedy for 8 years and improv for 9. He graduated from Pasadena City College with an AA degree. He then went to Cal State University Dominguez Hills where almost majored in theatre until he decided to call it quits and pursue stand up full time. Since then he's written for Adult Swim's Loiter Squad and few other presentation pilots. He's also appeared on Comedy Central's Tosh.O . With his unique, raw, and colorful perspective, Jamar continues to hone his stand up regularly in various clubs around the country. A club favorite!
Dave Ross is a stand-up comic and a staple of the Los Angeles comedy scene. He recently headlined both the Hollywood Improv and the Nerdist Theater at Meltdown, and continues to cart his weird blend of intense vulnerability, screaming political commentary and dumb butt jokes around the city and the country, to every festival, club, theater, bar, fire hall and bombed-out stone building that will have him. Once, in Oregon, he performed for four year-olds.
Some things you might know him from: he is the host of the podcast Terrified on the Nerdist Network, a MOTH Grand Slam winner, a storyteller on KCRW's UnFictional, and was recently interviewed on WTF with Marc Maron. You might have seen him on Tosh.0 with his sketch group, WOMEN, which was named the #1 Comedy Act to Watch in 2014 by the LA Weekly and is now making sketches for IFC's Comedy Crib. In 2014, Dave got hammered on Drunk History on Comedy Central, and in a blackout, demanded that everyone in the world be nice to each other. That's pretty much Dave in a nutshell. He loves you. He loves you kind of angrily.
The Rolling Show is a throwback to the old school days here at the Improv. Starting right after the 10pm show (usually around midnight) we open the stage to our seasoned Improv regular comedians who are hanging out at the club to work out their sets.
The show is NO COVER and seated on a first come first serve basis. There is NO DRINK MINIMUM, but drinks are available at the front bar.
Our Improv regulars have been featured on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, Chelsea Lately, the Late Night circuit, and more.
Come out for a fun, unpredictable show to end your Saturday night.
