  • Gerry Bednob

    Gerry Bednob

A self-described “class clown” in school, Trinidad born comic of East Indian heritage, Gerry Bednob graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Sociology. He worked as a high school counselor until he decided to try out open mic night at Yuk Yuk’s. His initial fear of bombing on stage resulted in huge laughs from the crowd and got him an invite to come back from the owner of the club.

“You can be a class clown or be the guy who’s funny at parties but that doesn’t necessarily translate to the stage. It’s all about timing, and luckily I learned a thing or two.” Gerry honed his timing and skill for 2 years in Toronto before deciding to make the move to Los Angeles.

The move paid off as he finished 2nd in the LA Comedy Contest and followed that up with being the first first-time comic to open a late night show when he appeared on The Merv Griffin Show. He became relatively well known on the comedy club circuit performing throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

He made appearances on The Wonder Years and Encino Man before winning the 1993 Star Search International Stand-Up Competition. It was as a comic where he met writer/director Judd Apatow and was cast as Mr. Burundi on the Fox television show, Undeclared. This relationship led to Gerry’s breakthrough role as Mooj in the smash hit, The 40 Year-Old Virgin. He would follow up on the success of this with numerous roles in film and TV including Witless Protection with Larry the Cable Guy, and Walk Hard with Jenna Fischer and John C. Reilly.

  • Kevin Farley

    Kevin Farley

Kevin Farley has truly established himself as a comedic presence both on the big screen and television.

Farley grew up in Madison, WI, as the fourth child of five children and he attended Marquette University where he earned a business degree. Farley then went to work for his father’s business, but eventually moved to Chicago and studied at the famed Second City and continues to be active as a key alumnus. Then it didn’t take long for him to establish himself as a comedic presence both on the big screen and television in Los Angeles.

He immediately began working with Adam Sandler in The Waterboy and also starred in the comedic films Black Sheep and Beverly Hills Ninja. Then Farley landed a starring role as “Doug Linus” on MTV’s sitcom 2gether where he was met with rave reviews. Farley has also been seen in numerous hit TV series such as That '70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Joey, Just Shoot Me, Curb Your Enthusiasm, United States of Tara, True Jackson, VP and many more.

In the feature film An American Carol (Directed by David Zucker) Farley’s lead character is a spoof on director Michael Moore as the storyline moves into a satirical look at Hollywood and America’s politically correct culture. He is visited by three spirits who take him on a hilarious journey in an attempt to show him the true meaning of America. The supporting cast included Kelsey Grammer, Jon Voight, Leslie Nielsen and the late Dennis Hopper.

Farley moved behind the camera as co-writer and co-director of Hollywood & Wine, which takes an irreverent look at an actress struggling because she’s a dead ringer for a tabloid train wreck-type actress. Alongside Kevin Farley and co-writer John Farley this hilarious film stars a unique cast of comedians, (SNL alum) Chris Kattan, David Spade, Norm MacDonald, Horatio Sanz, Chris Parnell as well as Nicky Whelan, Chazz Palminteri, and Vivica Fox.

Next up for Farley is the feature film White Knight (released January 2011). Farley stars alongside Tom Sizemore and Stacy Keach. It’s about a Texas Ku Klux Klan member confronts everything he's been taught to hate when he's sentenced to three years of hard labor on a prison work farm. An unconventional love story develops that opens their eyes to the possibility of a different life. And a man who was a born and bred racist finds himself heading down a completely different path to salvation.
