  • Robert Duchaine

    Robert Duchaine

Robert Duchaine is a surly misanthrope. His sarcastic social commentary pokes fun at a myriad of topics including race, religion, and relationships. He’s been kicked out of every organization he was ever forced to join, from the Cub Scouts to the U.S. Army, and fired from every job he ever finagled. Robert finally found a refuge where he can make his own rules - the stand-up comedy stage. Now an established national touring headliner, Robert performs regularly in Las Vegas show rooms, colleges, comedy clubs and concert venues. Duchaine is also involved in avant-garde theater and independent film. Robert's unique perspective fuels an act that pushes the envelope. Duchaine is candid, entertaining, and always hilarious! "...this guy is a must see!" --Arts & Entertainment Weekly "...like having a one-sided conversation with your funniest friend." --The Oregonian "...only Robert Duchaine rises above..." --Backstage West "Duchaine is confident and relaxed in the grip of hostility." --The San Francisco Chronicle

  • Jeremy Beth Michaels

    Jeremy Beth Michaels

Out of college, Jeremy’s first job was at a very corporate place – Cisco Systems. While she was making probably more than she will ever again she decided working in a cube for 8 hours wasn’t for her. So, she decided to jump ship and move to San Francisco. Her whole life she had always heard “you are so funny – you should be a comedian.” Throughout her life, she got out of any trouble by saying something funny, so it made sense to translate that into a career. Hint – if you really don’t want do something, opt for saying something funny, you’ll usually get out of it.

Jeremy is 4”11 and a quarter, yes she includes the quarter – wouldn’t you? So, although she looks like she hasn’t gone through puberty from behind, even though she is in her 30’s, she can still fit in a booster seat…comfortably. In fact, she should be able to fly for free considering she is the size of a 9-year-old girl.

In 2000 she sprung into her first set at the infamous Luggage Store and from that night on, comedy was in her blood. Jeremy knew she was in for quite a ride even if she can’t even reach the 5ft mark to get on the ride itself. She quickly made a name for herself by delving into subjects that reflect a special insight about her life and the world around her. Although she looks innocent her comedy is kind of like a mix of Bob Saget and Bart Simpson but with a really pretty lip-gloss.

In San Francisco she became a regular at the Punch Line and the various other comedy clubs in the area. She was also asked to warm up the crowd for the San Jose’s Cinequest Film festival two years in a row. With her comedy friend Jeff Kreisler, she produced Comic Fusion which showcased the best in Comedy and music as well as her own comedy showcases called Audible Candy. These events showcased the best rising talent of the Bay Area comedy scene while giving her valuable stage time. One night on the way to a San Francisco comedy show she couldn’t find any parking so she just kept driving south and came to LA.

Once there she was asked to host at the world famous Hollywood Improv and has hosted numerous shows around town, been featured on CMT-Top 40 Done Me Wrong Songs and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (for 30 really long seconds). In addition, she has been on numerous radio programs such as National Lampoon Radio and The Damage Report. Last year saw Jeremy on a west coast comedy tour called “Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad”. she has also been featured in the San Jose Mercury News.

And yes, Jeremy is her real name. No, her parents didn’t want a boy – they just liked it. Still, with this name, any time Jeremy calls the bank she get sent directly to the fraud department and people think because she is female that she spells her name with an ‘ie’.

Recently, Jeremy has worked with various comics from around the nation Margaret Cho, Bobby Slayton, Tom Rhodes, Sarah Silverman just to name a few.

  • Andrew Norelli Comedy Central Certified

    Andrew Norelli

With numerous late night appearances including “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” Andrew Norelli is a comedian whose understated delivery and strong material simmers with fierce wit and biting intelligence. His other TV appearances include Comedy Central's “Live at Gotham,” and the nationally syndicated comedy round-table “Comics Unleashed,” where he also worked as a monologue joke writer. Andrew's natural charisma and sharp material have charmed audiences at comedy festivals around the world. He won the first annual Las Vegas World Series of Comedy, which only takes place in the US, so the use of the phrase “World Series” is a bit murky. But if it’s good enough for baseball, it’s good enough for him. He also took second place at the Boston Comedy Festival, and his performance at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal was praised in Time Out New York. He's delighted audiences at Sydney’s Comedy Store and Laugh Garage where The (Australia) Daily Telegraph remarked “his show features hair trigger laughs with a deadly aim, all the more so because while some comedians overestimate their own intelligence, Norelli never underestimates ours.”

Come out and see The Improv's most amazing talent! Combining up and coming comics with seasoned veterans and today's hottest acts, it is always an amazing show! Some shows have yielded such up and coming acts as Ian Bagg, Sam Tripoli, Bret Ernst, Adam Hunter, as well as some veteran performers such as Ron White, Bob Saget, Chris Rock, and Sarah Silverman.
