For the fans of podcasts, of secret shows, and of the back alleys of the internet, r/Standup is a live standup show starring the best comedians today's scene has to offer. This is where the outcasts become the cool kids and where unique is celebrated. r/Standup features the same comedians you'd see at a theater, but it's priced at just $10 so you can be a regular and never miss it. There's a pre-show bar mingle meetup for redditors, and most comics stay around after the show to hang. And every show features one awesome unannounced guest.
Steve Byrne, co-host of The Tomorrow Show TODAY!:
Steve Byrne has risen through the ranks of the comedy world to become one of the industry's most respected, innovative and sought-after performers. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Steve was born to a Korean mother and an Irish father. His unique background has given him the base comedic material for his first television show, Sullivan & Son, a half hour comedy on TBS, which is returning this summer for its third season. His third hour-long comedy special, Champion, will debut on Netflix in May 2014. The Tomorrow Show TODAY! is the show to end all shows and we only say that because it has such a late time slot! It’s the show where comics end up each night for a no holds barred, anything goes format hosted by Steve Byrne and band leader on keyboard Owen Benjamin. Join Steve and Owen as they welcome friends and fellow comics to wrap up each night with a show of improv and free thought within a talk show format.
