Rich Aronovitch has recently appeared on Gotham Comedy LIVE on AXS TV, has been seen dancing with Charo on NBC’S The Tonight Show with Jay Leno; has hosted multiple episodes of Three Men and A Chick Flick on The W.E. Network; Last Comic Standing on NBC; The Upright Citizen’s Brigade on Comedy Central; Killer Sets on Time Warner on Demand; Series Pilot Love Sport on MTV; and series pilot Last Laugh At Pips on HBO featuring Woody Allen. Rich Aronovitch recently was nominated for the LA Comedy Awards “Break Out Comic of The Year” and won the Las Vegas Film Festival’s “Silver Ace Award” for his film Waiting To Stand-Up (where Rich he plays ten different roles). Rich has appeared in multiple comedy festivals such as: The Toyota Comedy Festival in NY, The Capetown International Comedy Festival in South Africa, The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, The New Orleans Comedy Festival, The Underground Comedy Festival in New York, The Hometown Comedy Project in Houma, and was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival. Rich will be appearing on the Television show Kamikazee TV on the Fuel Network, Exposed on the Travel Channel this year, and will be seen in the upcoming movie Wingman Inc. He has been heard on Friday’s with Jim Breuer on Raw Dog Channel 99, XM Sirius Radio as well as on 24/7 Comedy. Rich has recently hosted The Morning Show on Playboy TV.
Rob is a Los Angeles based actor and writer. A former company member of Chicago's famed Second City Theater, he wrote and performed three shows on their E.T.C. stage, including "Pratfall of Civilization". A long time Chicago improviser, he has worked extensively at I.O. Chicago, performing with groups including "JTS Brown", "Foursquare", and "The Armando Diaz Experience."
He has worked on several short films and video projects, including the award winning comedy "Stalk Much?" directed by Bill Baykan. He co-wrote and starred in a short called "Elevator" that was a favorite of Will Ferrell's on funnyordie.com. Rob also wrote and produced "The Clinic", a short film that was selected by several film festivals around the country, including L.A. Comedy Shorts.
Since moving out West, Rob has been performing at Second City L.A. with "Mr. Johnson" and at I.O. West with "Spirit Cat". He's also written, directed, and acted in several short films with Mr. Johnson that you can see on their youtube page at www.youtube.com/mrjohnsoncomedy.
Rob worked as a freelance ad copywriter with DraftFCB in Chicago for several years, and is also a trained opera singer.
Deep Dish combines the art of stand-up comedy and long form improvisation. A celebrity comedian takes a single audience suggestion and does a series of improvised monologues based on true stories from their lives. A group of improvisers then does a series of kick-ass improvised sketches based on these monologues. The Deep Dish performers are comedy veterans hailing with from I.O. West, UCB, and Second City Chicago, and have many film and TV credits under their belts.
