Jim Jefferies, hailing from Australia, headlines around the globe this year with his most recent tour self-titled simply JIM JEFFERIES. On the heels of his third one hour wildly successful comedy special, FULLY FUNCTIONAL (EPIX, Fall 2012), he is currently starring in his own sitcom LEGIT with each episode centered around stories from his stand up. He stars in, writes and produces the show which premieres on FX January 17, 2013.
One of the most sought after comedians, Jim returned this past summer to sold-out performances at Montreal’s Just For Laughs and Edinburgh’s Fringe Comedy Festival. Previously, Jim was seen in his Showtime one-hour comedy special ALCOHOLOCAUST and his debut JIM JEFFERIES: I SWEAR TO GOD on HBO. Jim’s bold and painfully honest commentary captivated all who tuned in. Jim has also been seen on HBO’s “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton” and he hosted “Live at Gotham” for Comedy Central.

His resume’ has grown since to include two appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and a half hour special on the inaugural season of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour. Most recently Rooftop Comedy released Michael’s debut comedy album Job Opening to the digital and audio world.
Michael is a biographical comedian--from his everyday experiences to his childhood memories, Michael conveys his stories innocently with a sarcastic edge. Marah Eakin, A.V. Club, calls Michael “A stand-up guy...He’s nice, charming.” Drew Hunt, Chicago Reader, writes, “In a lot of ways, he represents the ideal antidote to the sort of unbridled cynicism that pervades much of contemporary stand-up...Palascak, whose emotional scars run as deep as quarterbacking his high school football team to a winless season (‘We even lost some practices that year’), helps us to remember the escapist value of comedy.”

At an early age, Jay was naturally doing comedy at his family functions having his great Uncle Raymond laughing so hard he almost fell out of his wheelchair. Jay moved to Los Angeles to pursue film acting. He booked a few national commercials, a bad B movie, the lead in a Disney after school special and a couple of featured roles on television. Auditions were few and far between so Jay realized he should start doing stand-up comedy professionally.

Erik Knowles did his first stand-up set in the fourth grade at a summer camp talent show. Even at just nine years old, his two minutes of Nickelodeon jokes killed. His next performance was in 1999 while he was in the Marine Corps. One of his superiors, noticing Erik’s ability to make his peers laugh, ordered him to do a stand-up routine at the upcoming squadron Christmas Party talent contest. Erik won the contest by making fun of the Commanding Officer. After he got out of the Marine Corps in 2003, he did his first open mic at the Comedy Store in La Jolla. After that, there was no stopping him. Over the next few years he went on to perform with such headliners as Sarah Silverman, Pauly Shore, Bobby Lee, Zach Galifianakis, John Lovitz, Bobby Slayton, Gene Pompa, Joey "Coco" Diaz, Carlos Alazraqui, and many, many more. He was a finalist at the California Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas (2010), and has performed in comedy clubs and casinos, and military bases all over California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. Erik’s show leaves everyone satisfied. He looks back nostalgically, at his younger days in the Marines, boot camp, partying, and even a few war stories from his time in overseas in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then contrasts that with a witty look at his adult life full of responsibilities, becoming a father, and his uncontrollable desire to challenge social stigmas. His comedy is refreshing and edgy without being filthy. Erik Knowles fits nicely into any lineup and is a perfect fit for any comedy club in the country.
