  • Dom Irrera

    Dom Irrera

Nominated, six times for an American Comedy Award, Dom Irrera's stand-up material was honed in a multi-generational Italian household in South Philadelphia with his mother, sister, grandmother, uncles and cousins all under one very big roof. A great-grandmother even lived across the street. Together there were three floors and four generations of family.

His first big break was his performance on Rodney Dangerfield's "Nothing Goes Right" comedy specials for HBO. In 1989 Irrera's own HBO "One Night Stand" earned him his first CableACE award for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special. In '95 he won a second CableACE for the Showtime stand-up series he hosted, "Full Frontal Comedy". That same year he received a second CableACE nomination in the writing category for his work on Comedy Central's animated series, "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist". He also starred in a solo stand-up special for HBO in '92 titled "Command Performance".

He has performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Late Show with David Letterman", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson", "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", "The View", and has made several appearances on "Oprah". Recent credits include an all-new stand-up special titled "Comedy Central Presents", which aired on the cable network this past summer.

As an avid sports fan, he hosted four seasons of Comedy Central's irreverent football show, "Offsides", where he conducted hilarious on-the-field interviews with football greats. He also hosted Comedy Central's "Behind the Scenes at the American Comedy Awards: specials in '98 and '99.

Irrera was a series regular on the '98 Fox comedy "Damon" starring Damon Wayans and his guest-star credits include "Seinfeld" (he played an annoying prop comic needling Jerry in the memorable episode), "Becker", "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "King of Queens". In addition, Dom voices the character Ernie, the demolitions expert, on Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold".

His film work includes a featured role in Robert Townsend's "Hollywood Shuffle", a cameo in the Coen Bros. Film, "The Big Lebowski", "The Fourth Tenor", starring old pal Rodney Dangerfield, and he played himself in the Rodney Dangerfield / Dom De Luise film, "The Godson".

Dom has performed at Montreal's prestigious "Just For Laughs Festival" and the "Cat Laughs Festival" in Kilkenny, Ireland (he's made more appearances at both festivals than any other American comic). He also has performed at the "Melbourne Comedy Festival" in Australia, and at "Edinburgh Festival's" Assembly Hall. It was there that he received the "Herald Award" for artistic excellence.

  • Robbie Pickard

    Robbie Pickard

Robert Mark Pickard III was born and raised in Palos Verdes, Calif., where he surfed, played sports and until he was 16, thought girls had cooties. His soccer skills helped get him into the University of California, Irvine, where he got his B.A. in Literary Journalism. Passionate about comedy and needing money, Robbie waited tables at the Irvine Improv his last two years of college. He was nearly fired on a daily basis for watching the comics while his customers waited 30 minutes for their mozzarella sticks. It wasn’t a job—it was like going to comedy school.

A collegiate soccer player turned frat guy, Robbie’s first taste of performing comedy came when he wrote and hosted roasts of his fellow fraternity brothers. Even though they don’t remember any of it, all of the drunks at these events thought he was super funny, and it gave Robbie the unmerited confidence he needed to pursue a career in comedy. Robbie stepped on stage for the first time on May 11, 2007 at The Ice House in Pasadena, Calif. He did really well because he had about 40 overly supportive friends in the audience, resulting in even more unmerited confidence. Next, he performed at a dive bar in Pomona, Calif. called Scoreboards. He did the exact same five minutes of material that did so well in front of his friends the week before, and bombed miserably. Humbled and humiliated, the journey began.

Since then, Robbie has been moving up the ladder in the Los Angeles comedy scene at a rapid pace. His sharp, tightly written material paired with his laid-back delivery have been winning over audiences across the country. Already a regular at all of the Improvs in Southern California, he is also a regular performer on Comedy Juice, recently hailed by Sirius Satellite Radio as "the best standup show in the country.” In a short time, Robbie has already performed at many of the top comedy clubs in the country: The Improv (Hollywood, Brea, Irvine, Ontario), The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, The Ice House, Caroline’s on Broadway, The Broadway Comedy Club, Stand Up NY and many more. Robbie has shared the stage with some of the hottest comedians working today, including Bill Burr, Jim Norton, Aziz Ansari, Rob Schneider, Harland Williams and Tom Green. He has also been hitting the road as the feature act for Sadiki Fuller and Tom Clark, touring across the Pacific Northwest.

In April 2008, Robbie started producing and hosting his own weekly show at his alma mater, UC Irvine. Monday Night Comedy @ The Anthill Pub has gone on to be one of the most successful recurring social events that the school has ever seen. Each week, Robbie works out new material and brings in top headliners from around the country. Many students that graduated years ago still come back on Monday nights to catch the show. In 2008, he was selected to perform in the California Comedy Festival and was a finalist in Orange County’s Funniest Person Competition. Soon after, producers from National Lampoon caught his act and gave him a role in their film, "Dirty Jokes: The Movie." He has written and produced many popular short films on YouTube, and is finishing writing his first TV pilot.

Robbie currently resides in Santa Monica, Calif., and can be seen live all over Los Angeles, Orange County and the rest of the country.
