  • Rob Delaney

    Rob Delaney

Rob Delaney is a writer/stand up originally from Boston and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Much of Delaney’s success can be attributed to his massive following of over 650,000 followers that grows every day. In 2012, he won the award for “Funniest Person on Twitter” at the Comedy Central Comedy Awards beating out such luminaries as Steve Martin and Stephen Colbert. He’s also been listed as one of “The Funniest People on Twitter” on such sites as the Huffington Post, Vice Magazine, Paste Magazine, Comedy Central, and Funny or Die. Most recently he self-released his debut one-hour comedy special Live at the Bowery Ballroom via his own website, www.robdelaney.com. Rob’s reach spreads beyond the US market; in the UK he sold out the

Soho Theatre in 7 minutes via one “tweet” making him the fastest selling US performer in the venue’s history. His television credits include Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, FUEL TV’s The Daily Habit, and the pilot Movie Nook for TBS. In past years, Rob was a contributing writer for Ridiculousness on MTV and Vice Magazine. At the end of 2011, he filmed a
pilot for Comedy Central entitled @robdelaney. Rob was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” for 2012. In 2013, his first novel will be published by Random House. Rob also sings the national anthem for the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He currently performs stand up regularly at the top comedy venues in Los Angeles, New York, and across the United States.

Huffington Post: “ Rob certainly meets all the criteria required for the clutches of stardom to grab
    hold

The Guardian: “Delaney is one of the sensations of the US scene.”

UK Arts Agenda: “An excellent US comic, who pedals wry, searing anecdotes on modern life. A rare, and
    fleeting, delight.”

  • Eddie Pepitone

    Eddie Pepitone

Comedian Eddie Pepitone is a master of the dark art of comedy. Hailed as a modern day cross between Jackie Gleason, Don Rickles and Eckhart Tolle. Eddie is a force of nature on stage, switching back and forth between social rage and self doubt. His shows are an energetic combo of calm and chaos, blue collar angst and sardonic enlightenment.

Few comedians working today channel the power of the rant better than Pepitone. He’s one of a kind and a favorite among fellow comedians and die heard comedy fans alike.

In addition to his stand-up skills, Eddie Pepitone is a stand-out comic/character actor. Pepitone began his comedy career in New York City, quickly becoming a regular on the scene. He appeared regularly on Late Night With Conan O’Brien. His other numerous television appearances include Chappelle’s Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, King of Queens, Last Comic Standing, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Sarah Silverman Program. Pepitone recently released a Comedy Album entitled "A Great Stillness" and has a Documentary about his life coming later this year called "The Bitter Buddha."

Description: Rebecca Corry presents the second annual STAND UP FOR PITS at the Hollywood Improv!
Rebecca's two biggest passions are comedy and pit bulls. After adopting her own precious "Pibble", ANGEL, she realized the importance of educating and helping this precious breed that is so misunderstood and mistreated. She believes there's no better way than through laughter and positive images of amazing pit bulls. All proceeds of this amazing night of comedy will go directly to Angel City Pit Bulls, a small Los Angeles
pit bull rescue group that Rebecca is committed to helping out.
